Illinois to Colorado

Our trip westward again took us through Nebraska.  The winds in Nebraska were blowing fiercely across the interstate.  We took turns behind the wheel, swapping every hour so that neither one of us would be completely worn out since our injuries were still fresh.

We stopped for the night in Lexington, NE and in the morning visited the Military Vehicle Museum.

There were lots of Jeeps and other Military Vehicles

On the suggestion of Steve & Pam, we headed off the interstate in Colorado to drive through the Pawnee National Grasslands.

The grasslands were beautiful
